God's Word, The Bible

The Bible claims to be from God, the Creator of the universe (2 Tim. 3:16-17).  Men of the Bible said their words, whether written or oral, were from God, not man (Ex. 3:7; Isa. 51:15-16; Gal. 1:11-12).  Evidence backs this up.

The Bible contains 66 books written over a period of 1400 plus years by more than 40 writers in different cultures, nations, and times.  Yet there is ONE theme consistent throughout—the salvation of mankind through the Son of God, Jesus the Christ (Gen. 3:15; Joel 2:32; Jn. 1:29).

Old Testament prophecies revealed information that no human could know (Isa. 53; Psa. 2; etc.).

The New Testament gives detailed, eyewitness testimony to the life of Jesus of Nazareth.  Evidence proves the accounts are accurate and reliable, with over 5,300 Greek manuscripts (copies of the original letters), and tens of thousands of others.  Some date to less than 50 years of the original writings, and their internal and external harmony exceeds all other ancient documents.

You can be confident the Bible is God’s eternal word (1 Pet. 1:23-25).

God is spirit,
and those who worship Him
must worship in spirit and truth.

- John 4:24
